Just recently "Tawag ng Tanghalan crowned its inaugural grand champion. This was an amateur competion. This could help in their music career. The announced winner was Noven Belleza.
A popular newspaper repaired that Noven quit his schooling when he was just 15 in order to help his father in farming works.
When he was asked what he would do with the cash prize he recently won, he said that he would use it to help his parents and seven other siblings.
Noven won money, house and lot an instrument package and a talent contract.
Noven said that air supply is one of his major music influences. He was congratulated by one halt of the duo, Graham Russell. It was also reported that Graham sent an email he wrote for Noven to Danee Samonte.
A radio station released a video of the Tawag ng Tanghalan winner singing yet another Air Supply song. "Here I Am".
